Elf Queen color: A whole bunch went on before I actually got here but this is where I'm currently at. I changed her hair some and adjusted her dress patterns. I still have to finish her jewelry and such then it should be some clean up and finalizing.

Elf Queen inks: Next I take my sketch and scan it into Photoshop. Then I "ink" it with my handy dandy Wacom tablet.

Here's where I'm currently at. I decided to put them high up somewhere. I'll probably put some flying thigamajig in the background there but not sure what yet. Dropped in some starting color but nothing set in stone. Also started to flesh everything out a bit but I'm wanting to try a different coloring style so everything is temporary.

This is where I'm at. Dropped in some armor details and a ram mount but kind of stuck here. I'm not sure what I want to put in as a background. My original idea was to have a dead dragon back there like the dwarf shot it down but that didn't work, next I tried a dwarf city but that made the image too busy, so now I'm trying to think of somethin' else..

Inked my bearded fellow in Photoshop with my Wacom tablet, Next I'll add some fanciness to the armor and maybe some other elements. Still don't know what he'll be doing yet.

So I need at least 15 new pieces of art to round out my portfolio. I came about that number by updating the layout of my website and finding 15 possible slots to fill. Not exactly scientific but it works for me. This here is the start of my first piece. A good ol' sturdy fantasy dwarf. Not sure what exactly he's doin' just yet. I'll figure that out as I move along.
